BLOGGING A TO Z: F

FRAMPTON

Everyone loves some kind of music. There are so many genres nowadays. I love Classic Rock. One of my favorite performers is PETER FRAMPTON. I saw him in concert 3-4 times.

I had the poster shown below upon my wall. I loved his dreamy eyes and those gorgeous messy blond curls. I laid in my bed sometimes staring at him dreaming of my fingers running through the curls. Hey! Remember I was a teenager!

Many years later, I saw him on a talk show and his hair was GONE. I yelled "Oh NO!" I don't know if he cut it off or it naturally fell out. I was so disappointed.

He plays awesome guitar as well.

What is your favorite genre music? Who was your McDreamy?

  1. I too am a Frampton fan. I saw him in concert with Eric Clapton if my memory serves me right. He did some great music even going back to his early days with the group The Herd.

    2. I wish I could remember. This was one of two concerts I went to with a date. For this one I was more focused on the date than I was the concert and we didn't have the greatest seats either.

For the other one I went to see Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Kansas. My date complained of a headache because the music was too loud so we left at intermission and I missed Kansas, the group that I really wanted to see.

No more concerts with dates after that.

    3. Arlee, since you were interested more in the date, it didn't matter where the seats were then lol. That sucked about the Kansas concert. I would have gone it alone too after that too! Thanks for commenting!

  2. It's so hard to believe that all that beautiful hair is gone and he's bald. :-( Such a travesty. Love his music! Great post. XX

  3. I remember that poster although I didn't have one. Sometimes, I think it's better not to know that time has progressed and people have changed. Sometimes, it just fun to live with our teenage fantasies no matter how old we are.

    1. My wall was full of posters but he stands out. I was reading that his hair receded so we have to give him so slack. At least we can hold on to our memories :)!

    1. Yes, he is still alive. We get a few older bands at a a local casino but some of them are so expensive. I liked Pat Benatar. Is that telling everyone our age? lol
